Last week I attended a meeting of the It’s Cool to Be Kind Club at Glenside Elementary School. The club was started by Tanner Feinour. I met three of the four members Kashmere, Elias and Isaiah. I hope to meet Emilio the next time I go. They proudly showed posters they made about kindness and shared their many kind acts. Kashmere even gave a Cool to Be Kind Movement sticker to a girl she had seen being kind earlier that day! So proud of you Kind Kids!! And thank you, Tanner and Glenside Elementary for helping me spread the message of kindness.
Here are their kind acts:
I helped someone pick up their folder. And I hold the door for people. Isaiah
I helped my teacher sharpen pencils and other jobs like math checkers and helping with library books. Elias
I make my mom feel better when she feels sad. I tell her that it is okay. If my brother is crying, I help him. I help my brothers with their homework. Kashmere
Check out the amazing posters they have all over their school!!
